Privacy and cookies
In short: we do not create accounts, do not build profiles, and do not use marketing cookies. Below are the details required under the GDPR.

Data controller
The data controller is the entity operating the NutriDir.Pro site. Full registration details will be provided before the production launch. Contact: nutridir@proton.me.
What data we do not collect
The site is a static page. We do not maintain user accounts, have no registration forms or newsletter, do not collect health data, and do not ask for any personal data in order to use the content. We do not use marketing, profiling or remarketing cookies. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data processed nonetheless
Server logs and protection against abuse
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.)'s infrastructure. The hosting provider processes technical connection data (IP address, browser type, requested address, timestamp) in order to deliver the page and protect against attacks and abuse. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest.
E-mail correspondence
If you write to us — for example, to report an error in the data — we process your e-mail address and the content of the message solely in order to reply and correct the error. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to handle the matter.
Visit statistics
If we enable statistics, it will be a tool that operates without cookies and without identifying individuals (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible). In that case, only aggregated data is collected. Were we ever to deploy a solution requiring consent, you would see a consent banner, and the scripts would not run before you had given it.
Cookies
In the current version, the site does not store any cookies or data in browser storage. You do not need to accept anything to use the content. Should this change, we will update this document and introduce a consent banner blocking such scripts until consent is given.
Recipients of data
Technical data is processed by the hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.)) as a processor. E-mail correspondence is processed by the e-mail provider. Data may be transferred outside the EEA as part of these providers' services, on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified, erased or its processing restricted, the right to data portability, and the right to object. Submit your request to nutridir@proton.me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

The site contains links to source documents on the sites of institutions such as EFSA, the WHO or national health institutes. Once you click such a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Data and content are produced and cross-checked by several independent AI models against the source documents. They have not undergone review by a human editor.
